I am a deep-sea fish, I don't feel home in shallow water.

This is not meant to be or become a blog. I mean: there will be no possibility for an interaction between you and me. I cannot code a blog myself. And if I really wanted a blog, there are other providers and places where I could create one. And if you really want to interact with me, you can always contact me by e-mail.

So: what is this Captain's Log?
What I missed on my Castalian Visions site is a space where I can add what is happening more now, in the moment. Not the Museum where the finished works are shown but a place where I can jot down ideas, add techniques, sketches ... in short: everything that does not find a place on the other pages.
Plus, to be honest: I haven't got the slightest idea where this will be leading to, nor what form it is going to take. I just wanted this. And that is exactly what makes it so attractive and exciting. That is what makes it creative. And that is what I want.
I've always been intrigued by the following lines from Al Stewart's song Lord Grenville:

Go and fetch the captain's log and tear the pages out
We're on our way to nowhere now, can't bring the helm about
None of us are left in any doubt:
We won't be back again

What I want to try, is to document that voyage into the unknown.
On a quantum level, time is of no importance anymore, and neither is space as things can be at multiple places at the same moment.
And that is what I want: the undefined.
Let's see what comes from it: I leave it open.

So, without any further ado: let's get started...
