Witchcraft has always fascinated me. Not the typical christian obsession of licking the devil's arse, but the idea of becoming wise and more balanced by facing the demons of humanity, and taking responsability for one's own's actions in the illusion we call reality. Illusion here does not mean it isn't real, but that it is not what we think it is.

This work is influenced by Hector Berlioz' Symphonie Fantastique. The subtitle is also the title of a movement of his symphony: 'Songe d'une Nuit de Sabbath | Dream of a sabbath night' The fascinated young girl witnesses a sabbath and wants to join the coven.
