When Hervé Glot invited me for a group exhibition in La Gacilly with as theme Les Villes Englouties (Sunken Cities) it inspired me immediately. I was discovering Bretagne and was so enthusiastic about everything I now wonder how I ever avoided mental and emotional indigestions. Back home, I immediately started to work on what was to become this work. But the theme was so inspiring I finally did a series of ten works on it.

Meanwhile I had also visited Istanbul, and some details in this work are influenced by it.

These images will be replaced by better ones as soon as I decide to unframe the work. Which I am not exactly keen on doing as it is professionally framed.
