exorcisms

I have always been fond of labyrinths. Not mazes, labyrinths. Perhaps it has to do with the Minotaur? Not that I have much admiration for Theseus because he broke the backbone of the Minoan culture, seduced the princes Ariadne who had helped him and left her on some island on the way home.
It may well be the end of the era of Taurus, the bull, and the beginning of Aries, the ram.
To me, personally, the labyrinth is linked to going inside of yourself. Not to simplistic psychology which is far too reasonable, but to the core of Life itself. And I have alway loved these verses by W.H Auden :

The centre that I cannot find
Is known to my Unconscious Mind;
I have no reason to despair
Because I am already there.

-W.H. Auden
